Season & Weather
Spring in Italy means unpredictable but beautiful weather—some days feel like early summer, while others still have a crisp chill.
🌡 Temperatures: Min 10°C | Max 25°C
Layering is key! Lightweight pieces that transition effortlessly between cool mornings and warm afternoons are my go-to.

Color Palette & Style
My capsule is built on a neutral base with pops of color to keep things fresh and elegant. Think classic, timeless, and a little “old money” sophistication—but with personality.
Season Plans
My wardrobe needs to match my lifestyle, so I’m focusing on pieces that work for:
- Outdoor café dates and walks
- Exploring a new city
- Day trips and weekend getaways
Each outfit should feel effortless but polished—perfect for a relaxed afternoon or a day of sightseeing.
How I Want To Feel
I want to feel confident, effortlessly put together, and refined.
- Elegant, but with a few playful, interesting touches
- Chic, but never overdone
- Comfortable, yet always polished
My Inspiration Outfits
Below are some of the outfits shaping my Italian Spring Capsule Wardrobe, each with a little backstory.

The outfit that started it all. I was rewatching a TV series when I saw an actress in a trench coat and red purse, and I immediately knew I wanted to recreate the look with my own twist. That moment kicked off my spring capsule planning.

Making the most of my burgundy cardigan. Before it’s time to put it away for the season, I want to wear my burgundy cardigan a little more. I love how it pairs with lighter trousers—perfect for the transitioning weather.

A summer dress that might work for spring. Last summer, I got a maxi dress (similar to this one) but never wore it because it was simply too heavy for the heat. This spring, I’ll try styling it with a sweater over the shoulders for a fresh, transitional look.

A surprising color combination. I own these two pieces (same shade of jeans and a creamy white blazer) but had never thought to pair them. Then I saw an outfit in these exact light blue tones, and it instantly clicked. I never expected to love wearing light blue so much!

A fresh way to wear new trousers. I haven’t worn these new trousers yet, so I’m looking for ways to style them. A black and cream combo is a classic, yet a little less predictable than the usual black and white.

A simple but winning combination. I bought a grey cashmere cardigan but haven’t worn it yet. I’m keeping the styling minimal because I find that the simplest outfits are often the most effortless and elegant—especially when traveling.

Inspired by my favorite linen shirt. I love my short-sleeve linen shirt and would love to find a long-sleeve version. Jeans and a black shirt is a timeless pairing that always works.

A fall favorite with a spring refresh. I wore this outfit last fall and plan to recreate it this spring, but with a slightly different twist. A white t-shirt, light denim, and a beige trench—timeless essentials that always work together.

An outfit I plan to recreate. This look will be great with a blazer or a denim jacket—a simple but polished combination.

An outfit I planned but never wore. This is a look I tried and loved, but for some reason, never ended up wearing. This spring is the time to finally bring it out.
